17 March 2017 – The KM3NeT Collaboration congratulates Jannik Hofestaedt of the ECAP research center of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany with the award of first best poster presented at the XVII International Workshop on Neutrino Telescopes 2017 in Venice, Italy.
With his poster ‘Event reconstruction in the KM3NeT/ORCA detector‘, Jannik presented the details of his highly performant shower reconstruction method in the low-energy ORCA neutrino telescope, required for the measurement of the neutrino mass hierarchy.
